Top Scorer Jermaine Beckford showed just why premier league sharks are swimming round Elland Road of late, Bagging a brace in United's 2-2 with Bristol Rovers on saturday.Leeds took the lead through a deflected Beckford effort and that lead could of been double on a number of occasions in a very dominant first half hour for Leeds. However on 32 & 37 minutes, Leeds had two "moments of madness" as described by boss McAllister and found themselves going in 2-1 down at half time. In the second half, Leeds looked wounded and started at a ferocious pace with early chances for Becchio, Johnson and Delph going begging. Sub Jonny Howson also went close for leeds on 66 minutes before the pressure paid. The ball broke inside the Rovers' area and who else but Beckford seized with a lethal finish to take his seasonal tally to a staggering 7 goals already. Missed chances for Snodgrass, Showumni & Kilkenny left Rovers very tired, and Leeds with only 1 point claimed at home so far this season.
