Seamus Swords predicts a 2 - 1 scoreline in Germany's favour as the two sides who recorded victories in their opening Group B games' face each other, with early qualification to the Quarter Finals a possibility for the winners.

Worthersee Stadium Klagenfurt

K.O 5pm June 12th

Prediction Germany 2 Croatia 1

The Croatians will have their work cut out against pre Tournament favourites Germany. This match will more than likely determine the winners of group B, thus giving the first place team an easier route to the finals.

Both teams are expected to do well in this tournament but after Croatia’s lack lustre performance against the Austrians, Slavin Bilic’s team will have a point to prove against the Germans. It could be said that it was Austria’s lack of fire power upfront that allowed Croatia to escape with a win, unfortuntly the Germans have a pair of world class stickers in the form of Klose and Podolski to score the goals.

The Croatian’s will be looking to their star midfielder Luka Modric to drive the rest of the team forward, if they are to get anything out of this game.

In all honesty the Croatians will have to pull something special out of the bag to get even a draw out of this game. I believe the Germans superior quality will shine through giving them a place in the quarter finals.
