Johan Djourou and Philippe Senderos are both named in the squad. Lyon defender Patrick Muller has been selected, despite not playing for his club all season after recovering from a knee injury. Midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta keeps his place despite suffering from an ankle injury.

Making the Quarter Finals will be a challenge for the tournament co-hosts, the Czech's and Portugal favourites to progress to the knock out stages.
