League One - 2010/11 Season Preview

League One could arguably be the most open in the football league in 2010/11 as the big kick off approaches. 7th August see’s the likes of Sheff Wednesday, Plymouth and Peterborough try bounce back into the Championship at the first attempt, whilst Southampton will start the season 17 points better than they began last time out. Huddersfield, Charlton and Swindon, last season’s play off teams look to go one better this time around.

It was the team Ranked World Number 1 against the lowest ranked team in the tournament as Brazil (5 times champions) took on North Korea in an intriguing game in which Brazil were 2 – 1 victors.

As they commenced the defence of their World crown, Italy had to fight back from a goal down to earn their first point against Paraguay in Group F. June 14th 2010.
